Doing The Thing
May 29, 2010
There's nothing quite like being fresh new at something. It is exciting, but vulnerable in a way. It helps me to remember not to try too hard, don't take it too seriously and have fun with it all. The most important key to real success (whatever that is to you), is to learn, grow and maintain Genuinity!
As I get better at my Genuinity, I build endurance in knowing who I am, what I want and how that fits into my world. This is the best way I can add value to the planet, to start with knowing and honoring the real me. Mastering the process of feeling and expressing who I really am leaves me with a peacefully powerful feeling that I can be solid no matter what is going on around me.
My current life lesson is about learning to allow myself to receive. In true Doing The Thing form...it means first learning to recieve from myself what I am trying to give to myself. It may sound abstract, but if you can sink into it, you may find value for you too. You can try to give to another all you want, but if they are not open to receiving, it does not work. Are you open to receiving what your soul wants to give you for your best well-being? As I play around with this idea, I feel that a self-imposed dam is beginning to gently dissolve...helping me go with the flow.
Do The Thing with heart,
Dana

Have you considered adding more videos for your blog to keep the readers more entertained?

That is a great idea. I hope to do that as I grow.
It would involve an upgraded blog arena.

I do have to admit that I get pleasure from reading through your blog, even when I do not agree with you. I guess the main thing is to make persons feel. One of nowadays I will get around to starting a weblog. It will probably be more for blowing off steam and less helpful than yours is though. Maintain writing and I will keep reading.

Your comment inspired me! It reminded me to keep being me in my words and actions.
I have a tendency to censure myself a bit too much to appeal, fit in, etc. We all have those
insecurities, so we may as well accept and move past that toward the really great stuff
we have to offer. What have you found to be the most helpful about my blog?
Thanks much for your opinion,
Dana
