Doing The Thing with World Changes

Hello again,                                                                                                    April 10, 2011

Problems: the economy, government / politics, natural disasters, disease, 2012

These are out of my control.

Constant focus on things outside my control makes it worse,
distracting me from the solutions / distracting me from myself.

Solution: Constructive Selfishness again =

                                                 What is in my control?

You and I are in charge of how we think, feel and act. All the worlds problems and solutions
start here.

Being distracted by things outside our control keeps us miserable and powerless.
Why do we keep ourselves distracted by things outside our control?

Two universal human struggles stand in the way.

A) Caring what others think about you = fear
"I'm afraid if I say or do that, they'll think I'm wierd or dumb or ----- fill in the blank."
    "I'm afraid if I show who I really am, I won't be accepted, loved, -----  "     "       "    ."
When you care more about what they think of you, than what you think of you, you lose       yourself. When you lose yourself, you are unhappy. You can't help anyone. We all suffer.

                                                      FEAR is the culprit.

 Questioning our Worthiness-
Deep down we question whether we deserve all we can be, do and have.
We question our worthiness to handle the immense power we contain.

Your solutions are within your grasp, within you.
Mine are within my grasp within me. Together we can weather all the World Changes.
Together we will create a world we love, not by fixing the problems of the world, but by
focusing on the grand solutions we have inside.

Until next time...
Do The Thing with Love instead of Fear,
Dana
