Doing The Thing with Easter
Happy Easter! April 24th, 2011
DTT with Easter is about the re-birth of you.
Spring is a time of birth and re-birth, of hope and love and fresh renewal.
I am encouraging you to be a strong and purposeful advocate for your self.
How do you do this?
What do you think of doing each day that makes you feel selfish. Maybe you do it and feel
guilty, or you don't do it and feel longing. You may even stop yourself from doing it because
you feel you are not good enough at it. You may feel "what's the use?" or, "I don't have time."
We are talking about things that feed your soul, like creating art, making music, dancing,
be in nature, taking a bath, enjoying animals, reading or writing, or just doing nothing!
~ be kind to yourself
~ allow the child in you to remember what you love
~ examine the guilt or longing you have around things that make you feel good
(guilt, worry and longing just keep you from what you want)
~ do one thing today that reminds you of who you really are.
I am here to remind you that re-engaging with the child-like wonder you still have inside
you will enliven the magic of your life. It will renew and inspire you. It will add value to you.
What you do to add value to yourself adds value to us.
