Doing The Thing's Take on Disease

Hello!                                                                                                        April 30, 2011

DTT's view on any topic or problem is for you to take responsibility for your part of it.

Disease is no different. Whether I have a cold or Cancer, my body is in a state of dis-ease.
My body is alerting me to an imbalance.  It is my responsibility to regain balance.
A prolonged state of imbalance sets the stage for illness.

Illness is not the enemy. It is the helper / the teacher.
What is disease trying to teach us?

~ Be kind to yourself.    ~ Get to know yourself better.

~ Love yourself just for being here and being you.

~ Honor the power you have inside you.

~ Care enough about yourself to do things that make you feel good inside.

Fighting or repressing who we really are creates disease.

What do we do to fight or repress who we really are?

~ caring more about what others think of us, than how we view ourselves
~ denying ourselves pleasure of what feels good to us
~ fear and insecurity
~ undervaluing ourselves

When we stop "fighting" Cancer, we start the cure.
The cure for anything is found within each individual Doing The Thing by taking
responsibility for their own process. It is a quiet step by step journey of honoring themselves.

The solution is to learn to allow yourself to be who you really.
What can you learn about yourself today?

Doing The Thing can help you in this process.
