Doing The Thing with Beliefs
Glad you're here! May 21, 2011
Once there was a little girl (true story) who went to church with all of her friends. Each had
a different religion. These religions argued about what to believe. She found all this to be
very un-God-like.
Are some invisible beings okay to believe in and some are not? Should we judge each other
if I believe in Angel and Demons and you believe in spirits, ghosts or pure energy? And, where
does God fit in? If you don't believe in anything invisible, there are still many questions about
life that are left open.
Doing The Thing with Beliefs = exploring to find what rings true for you and how it moves you.
And, the real question is: How are your beliefs working out for you in your every day life?
Are you mostly insecure and afraid or confident, happy and empowered.
Look at your history for a moment / a quick run down of your life story.
Pay attention to your beliefs, thoughts, images, words and actions. Notice how one leads to
the next.
If you are unhappy or unhealthy...experimenting with these components of who you are,
can help you shift toward who and how you want to be.
DTT means not judging each other or telling each other what to do / think / believe. It means
taking steps to open yourself to the clarity of knowing what is true for you and live it!
More on this topic can be found in the book "Doing The Thing" which can be found on Amazon.com, Kindle, or here on www.doingthething.com.
